Romo Sets Cowboys Passing Touchdowns Mark

"Tony Romo became the Dallas Cowboys' all-time leader in career touchdown passes in the third quarter Sunday with a 23-yard touchdown pass to Dez Bryant. That was No. 166 in his career, one more than Troy Aikman had in his 12-year Hall of Fame career.

But it was No. 168 that meant more.

Romo's 6-yard touchdown pass to Bryant with 5:35 remaining gave the Cowboys the lead on their way to a 38-33 victory over the surprisingly gritty Philadelphia Eagles.

The win meant more than the record as the Cowboys kept their slim playoff hopes alive by getting back to .500.

"I think it's about winning games," Romo said. "That kind of gets put aside, obviously, when you're playing and right in the middle of where we are in the playoff picture. We desperately had to have this win today, and our team fought like heck to get a win. Saying that, it's a neat thing when you look at the other guys on that list. One day I'll look back, and I'll see the names that are on there. If you're in any discussion with [Aikman] in anything, you're doing something right. Obviously, that feels very rewarding."
